Job Summary

The Engagement Staff will assist in implementing the daily care of all clients/residents in compliance with treatment and program goals and direct phone calls in a timely and professional manner as well as perform of clinical duties as assigned. The Engagement Staff will greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the daily direct care of all clients/residents in compliance with treatment and program goals for Rosati Place.
  • Maintain positive relationship with each client.
  • Knowledge and understanding with each client’s diagnosis, medications and history in order to assist in implementation of treatment goals of clients.
  • Assist in creating comfortable atmosphere for residents and shelter setting.
  • Treat each resident with respect, keeping good professional boundaries.
  • Report behavioral/physical changes, problems and/or concerns regarding residents to social worker and respond/intervene as needed in therapeutic manner.
  • Complete all daily documentation of each intervention with residents.
  • Maintain visitor and other logs at front desk.
  • Retrieve and distribute incoming mail as needed to clients.
  • Distribute medication to clients as applicable.
  • Observe front desk monitor screens for unusual activity.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Assist with organizing daily billing intervention notes.
  • Assist with compliance coordinator daily task list.
  • Assist with Rosati Place audit requirements as needed.
  • Copy, file, and assist with daily organization for all Rosati programs.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisor for performance and feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required.
  • Current Med Tech Certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • First aid training and CPR-can obtain after hire.
  • Current TB test within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience with mental health/SUD required.
  • Housing First philosophy knowledge
  • Knowledge of mental health and co-occurring diagnoses
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Respectful of all individuals.
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Understand and practice client confidentiality.
  • Understand and practice client/staff boundaries.
  • Ability to coach clients in educational manner toward treatment goals.
  • Ability to complete appropriate documentation within licensure and facility standards.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary or multi-interdisciplinary team approach.

 

REQUIRED

  • Ability to sit/stand for extended period.
  • Adequate and appropriate communication skills
  • Ability to see within normal parameters, view monitors, and listen for disturbances.
  • Ability to handle physical movement and tasks as required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree preferred.

Pre-Employment Screening
