Aide-Classroom

Job Summary

The Instructional Aide supports teachers in fostering a safe, engaging, and faith-centered learning environment. The aide assists with classroom instruction, supervision, and clerical tasks, helping ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and spiritually.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to support classroom instruction and routines

• Assist with small group and one-on-one learning activities to meet diverse student needs

• Support the social, emotional, and spiritual development of students in alignment with Catholic values

• Help supervise students during classroom transitions, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment

• Communicate regularly and supportively with teachers, staff, and parents

• Foster a nurturing, respectful, and faith-filled classroom culture

• Model Christian behavior and support the mission of Catholic education

• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as needed

Job Requirements

• Prior experience working with students in a classroom or child-centered setting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively

• Organized, dependable, and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic school environment

• Joyful, compassionate, and student-focused

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Practicing Catholic preferred but not required
