Job Summary

Minimum of 2 years of college; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.

Completion of Protecting God’s Children seminar.

Practicing Catholic with strong knowledge and support of the Catholic Faith.

Experience or understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.

Punctual, professional in appearance and communication, and committed to working collaboratively.
Job Responsibilities
Classroom Support:
-
Assist teachers across classrooms, including during arrival, dismissal, recess, gym, or restroom routines.

Step in as a substitute when needed.

Support children with special needs or behavior challenges (“shadowing”).

Help implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
Child Interaction:
-
Support children’s social-emotional and spiritual growth using positive reinforcement and guidance.

Encourage communication, creativity, and problem-solving through respectful, age-appropriate interactions.

Respond promptly to children's physical and emotional needs.

Attend staff meetings, open houses, and required trainings.

Health & Compliance:
