Job Summary

St. Joseph School is a parochial school of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, dedicated to serving children and families by providing a Christ-centered learning environment where children grow in faith, truth, and love. We serve over 1,000 students in grades PK - 8 in Cottleville, Missouri. Our Parish relies on a dedicated team of professionals to educate our students, whether through classroom instruction or support across campus.

Job Responsibilities

The Nurse Substitute position would work as needed on school days 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a starting wage of $20.00/hour. Part-time positions do not qualify for benefits. Applicants must have a current Missouri RN license, experience working with children preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Be available to work on an as-needed basis during school hours (7:30 AM–3:30 PM)

  • Provide first aid, medication administration, and care for acute and chronic student health conditions

  • Monitor and respond to student illnesses or injuries and determine when further medical care is needed

  • Accurately document student health visits, medications given, and incidents according to school guidelines

  • Experience working with school-age children or in a pediatric setting preferred

  • Ability to collaborate with school staff while maintaining student health confidentiality
