Job Summary
This position is for Custodial work and cleaning at both Sacred Heart and Our Lady, three days at Sacred Heart and two days at Our Lady.
Job Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all floors.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens regularly.

Maintain tidiness and organization of all living and common areas within the rectory and parish office.

Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.

Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.

Ensure a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for clergy and staff.

Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Follow appropriate cleaning and sanitation procedures, especially in shared spaces.
Job Requirements

Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or a similar role preferred.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of privacy.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Familiarity with cleaning products and safe usage practices.
