Job Summary
The 4th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing a Christ-centered, academically rigorous education in a nurturing environment that promotes the development of the whole child—spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially. The teacher plans and delivers instruction aligned with Catholic values and the school's curriculum standards.
Job Responsibilities
Instructional:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in core subjects (Religion, Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies).

Integrate Catholic teachings into daily instruction and model Christian values in all aspects of the classroom.

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.

Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote respect, responsibility, and a sense of community.

Use technology and instructional tools effectively to enhance learning.
Communication and Collaboration:

Maintain open, respectful, and professional communication with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.

Attend and contribute to staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other required documentation.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field

Current teaching credential or state certification (or eligibility for certification).

Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.

Proficiency with educational technology and online platforms.
