The Mission of Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic School is empowering students, through love and virtue, to develop their Catholic faith, their intellect, and a community of one Spirit in Christ Jesus.
School Profile
Founded in 1880, Immaculate Conception Parish School and Preschool serves over 480 families and 820 students. The school has over 100 staff members including administration, office staff, classroom teachers, resource teachers, special area class teachers, teacher aides, and support staff. Immaculate Conception School fosters a “community of one Spirit in Christ Jesus”, dedicated to serving the mission of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of St. Louis and the needs of its families.
Summary
Under the supervision of the Principal and Associate Principals, the teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, physical, and faith development of children.

Mission Implementation
- Actively live and promote the school’s mission as part of “a community of one Spirit in Christ Jesus.”
- Uphold the Catholic Church’s mission per the Christian Witness statement and Gospel teachings.
- Provide instruction and an environment fostering whole-child development at appropriate age and grade levels.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare lessons aligned with curriculum goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate subject expertise and effective communication, organizing materials to optimize learning and engagement.
- Use evaluation methods aligned with curriculum objectives to assess student progress effectively.
- Maintain consistent discipline that fosters self-direction and positive self-image while managing behavior effectively.
- Collaborate with administration and staff to build positive relationships with students and parents.
