Job Summary

St Paul Catholic Church is seeking a dependable Clerical Assistant to support daily administrative tasks. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth office operations by managing correspondence, filing, and scheduling. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and comfortable working in a faith-based environment. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff

  • Sort and distribute mail and incoming documents

  • Maintain and organize filing systems (physical and digital)

  • Perform data entry and update records accurately

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

  • Assist in preparing reports and basic documents

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous clerical or office experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Professional demeanor and customer service skills

  • Comfortable using office equipment (printer, scanner, phone systems)
