Job Summary

As a Part-time Music Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to share your passion for music and inspire students to explore and develop their musical talents and appreciation. You will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging music lessons that foster creativity, skill development, and a love for music in our students.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and expression.

  • Teach basic to intermediate music theory, vocal techniques, and/or instrument instruction depending on student needs.

  • Inspire students to explore and develop their musical talents and appreciation.

  • Organize and lead student performances, recitals, or music-related events when applicable.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.

  • Maintain classroom materials and ensure proper care of musical instruments and equipment.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to support a holistic educational experience.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching music, preferably in a school or educational setting.

  • Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and/or vocal performance.

  • Strong knowledge of music theory and various musical styles or genres.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

  • Passion for music and a commitment to inspiring students.
