Job Summary
All Saints Academy – St. Norbert Campus is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher committed to academic excellence and faith formation. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional development of young learners.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and implement lessons that align with diocesan and state academic standards in core subject areas (religion, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies).
Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily classroom activities and instruction.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom community that promotes respect, kindness, and a love of learning.
Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities.
Participate in school-wide events, liturgies, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning and overall school mission.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
Current state teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) in elementary education.
Practicing Catholic preferred; must be supportive of Catholic mission and identity.
Experience in early childhood or elementary education, with knowledge of child development and instructional best practices.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
