Job Summary

Located in Florissant, we provide quality care to children and young adults, who have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma, and abandonment. Our Mission is to provide a safe home, compassionate care, quality mental health services so that our residents may regain their childhood and prepare for their future.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide guidance and ensure the physical and emotional need of residents are met in a nurturing way.

· Supervise, monitor, and assist each resident in their day-to-day routine.

· Collaborate effectively with staff members regarding the personal and healthcare needs of each resident.

· Educate and effectively provide instructions on daily living skills.

· Engage in the preparation and serving of meals to the residents.

· Escort residents to various structured activities on/off campus.

· Completes all required logs and reports.

 

Job Requirements

  •  High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (required)
  • 21 years of age or older
  •  Valid Driver’s License in good standing (required)
  • 1 year of Experience working with children (preferred)

Pre-Employment Screening 
All candidates receiving an employment offer must submit a pre-employment screening. The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
