Job Summary
All Saints Academy – St. Norbert Campus is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher committed to academic excellence and faith formation. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional development of young learners.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and implement lessons that align with diocesan and state academic standards in core subject areas (religion, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies).
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily classroom activities and instruction.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom community that promotes respect, kindness, and a love of learning.
- Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities.
- Participate in school-wide events, liturgies, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning and overall school mission.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Current state teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) in elementary education.
- Practicing Catholic preferred; must be supportive of Catholic mission and identity.
- Experience in early childhood or elementary education, with knowledge of child development and instructional best practices.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and willingness to integrate it into instruction.
