Job Summary

All Saints Academy is seeking a skilled IT Specialist/Computer Teacher to manage and oversee all technology systems, tools, and infrastructure for our school. The teacher will provide instruction in digital literacy, computer applications, and coding to students at various grade levels.  The teacher integrates technology into the curriculum and helps students develop skills necessary for academic and career success in a digital world.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all IT systems for the school.
  • Ensure optimal functioning of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to address technology needs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with budgeting and vendor management related to technology.
  • Teach students foundational and advanced computer skills, including typing, coding, internet safety, and digital citizenship.
  • Develop engaging lessons that integrate technology across subject areas.
  • Support students in using various software programs, educational platforms, and productivity tools.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot basic technology issues in the classroom.
  • Stay updated on emerging educational technologies and integrate them into instruction.
  • Collaborate with teachers to incorporate technology into lesson plans.
  • Promote responsible technology use and digital literacy among students.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in IT management; budgeting and vendor management experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification required; technology endorsement preferred.
