Job Summary

The Middle School Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality, faith-based education to students. This position involves creating and delivering engaging lessons in a variety of subjects (e.g., Math, Science, English, Social Studies, Religion) while nurturing students' spiritual, academic, emotional, and social growth in alignment with Catholic values and teachings

Job Responsibilities

nstruction and Curriculum Delivery:

  • Plan, develop, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with diocesan standards and state curriculum guidelines.

  • Teach core academic subjects (e.g., Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Religion), focusing on student engagement and mastery.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs and styles of students.

  • Incorporate technology, hands-on activities, and project-based learning to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Classroom Management:

  • Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment based on Catholic values.

  • Implement behavior management strategies that promote responsibility, self-discipline, and collaboration.

  • Foster a community of mutual respect, trust, and inclusivity within the classroom.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

  • Previous teaching experience, especially in a Catholic or private school setting, is preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to engage students and foster a positive, supportive learning environment.
