Job Summary

This position is responsible for the technical setup, operation, and management of livestreamed liturgical services and parish events. This role ensures that the faithful—especially homebound parishioners—can participate in the liturgical life of the Church through high-quality, reverent, and seamless livestreaming. The Mass Livestreamer supports the Church’s mission of evangelization through digital media, working in alignment with parish and Archdiocesan standards.

Job Responsibilities

Livestream Production: 

  • Operate livestreaming equipment for Masses
  • Ensure audio, video, and lighting settings are optimized for reverent and clear broadcasting.
  • Monitor livestream quality in real time, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely fixes during live events.
  • Coordinate with presiders, music ministers, lectors, and altar servers to align camera angles and microphone placements.
  • Check cameras, microphones, streaming software, and internet connections in advance.
  • Coordinate with the school religion teacher and PSR catechists to align curriculum and sacrament preparation.

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and sensitivity to sacred space and reverent visual framing.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and holy days.
  • Practicing Catholic
