Job Summary

The PSR Administrative Professional is a faith-filled individual who provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Parish School of Religion (PSR) office. This role works closely with the Director of Religious Education, catechists, and team members, managing a variety of clerical, organizational, and communication tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the DRE and PSR staff

  • Organize and maintain PSR records, files, and attendance logs

  • Manage registration processes and maintain accurate student data

  • Draft, format, and distribute communications (emails, newsletters, flyers)

  • Assist in planning and coordinating PSR events and sacramental programs

  • Serve as a point of contact for parents, catechists, and parish staff

  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed

  • Ensure the PSR office operates smoothly and efficiently

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of the Catholic faith

  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team setting

Schedule:
This is a part-time position; schedule may include some evenings or weekends based on the PSR calendar and parish events.
