Job Summary
The Babysitter provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during parish events, Masses, Bible studies, or other church activities. This role supports parents participating in church life by caring for their children in a responsible and faith-aligned manner.
Job Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children during designated parish events.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care.

Organize age-appropriate games, activities, and crafts.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the childcare area.

Communicate effectively with parents or guardians as needed.

Enforce rules and respond to behavioral issues with compassion and fairness.

Report any accidents, injuries, or concerns to parish staff immediately.

Follow all parish child protection and safety policies.
Job Requirements

Interest in working with children; prior experience is a plus.

Willingness to learn and take direction from lead staff.
