Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality meals according to established recipes and ensure that all food is prepared safely, efficiently, and attractively. The Cook will play a key role in maintaining kitchen organization, ensuring consistency in food quality, and supporting the overall dining experience for our guests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.

  • Assist in the development of new menu items and daily specials.

  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or equipment issues to the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.

  • Store food properly and maintain accurate labeling and rotation (FIFO).

  • Collaborate with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth and timely meal service.

  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.

  • Assist with receiving and inspecting deliveries of food and supplies.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant, cafeteria, or catering environment.

  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen processes.

  • Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
