Job Summary
Seeking a caring and responsible Aftercare Aide to assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students in the after-school program. This role supports the mission of Catholic education by fostering respectful behavior, building positive relationships, and helping students grow in a Christ-centered setting.
Job Responsibilities

Supervise and actively engage with students during aftercare hours

Assist students with snacks, homework, crafts, games, and structured indoor/outdoor play

Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times

Promote and model Catholic values and respectful behavior

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

Communicate clearly and positively with students, parents, and staff

Follow school policies, including emergency, safety, and discipline procedures

Report any concerns or incidents to the Aftercare Coordinator or school administration
Job Requirements

Experience working with children preferred

Practicing Catholic preferred, but all applicants must support the school’s Catholic mission

Patience, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Ability to manage groups of children with kindness and consistency

Must complete diocesan Safe Environment Training and background checks

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
