Job Summary

Seeking a caring and responsible After Care Aide to help supervise students during our after-school program. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports the mission of our Catholic school community.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and actively engage with students during after-school hours.

  • Assist with snack time, homework support, indoor/outdoor play, and organized activities.

  • Monitor student behavior and ensure safety and well-being at all times.

  • Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and parents.

  • Communicate effectively with the After Care Coordinator, teachers, and parents.

  • Help clean and organize the after-care space before and after use.

  • Follow school policies and procedures, including emergency and safety protocols

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting preferred

  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Warm, patient, and consistent in interactions with students

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
