Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
The Campus Director of Plant Operations oversees all properties owned and managed by Cardinal Ritter Senior Services (CRSS), ensuring functional, safe, and comfortable facilities through efficient management of equipment, appliances, and supplies. The role includes maintaining high-quality facility records, assisting on-site staff, and ensuring OSHA compliance.
Pay Range
- $85,000-$100,000
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and evaluates operating policies and procedures.
- Oversees facility inspections, maintenance, and repair records.
- Ensures maintenance of casualty control systems.
- Coordinates budget preparation and manages expenses.
- Supervises and directs repairs of power plants and mechanical equipment.
- Implements planned repair and construction programs.
- Maintains inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Sets priorities for preventive maintenance and modifications.
- Trains, supervises, and supports department staff and property supervisors.
- Responds to 24-hour callbacks for maintenance emergencies.
- Obtains bids and manages vendor relationships.
- Coordinates with Housing Directors, Administrators, and staff for maintenance projects.
- Oversees major maintenance projects and performance appraisals.
- Serves as Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in construction or related fields.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in engineering practices, disaster planning, boiler efficiency, and preventive maintenance.
- Skilled in inventory management, inspections, and vendor relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs.

- Supervises maintenance supervisors and personnel.
- Accountable for all plant operations budgets and staff performance.
