Job Summary

Job Title: Director of Wellness
Ministry: Cardinal Ritter Senior Services
Reports To: CEO
Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Wellness oversees the development and management of wellness programs, enhancing the health and well-being of seniors at Cardinal Ritter Senior Services. This leadership role requires strategic planning, collaboration, and a deep understanding of health and wellness practices. By fostering a culture of wellness, this position helps improve quality of life, productivity, and reduces healthcare costs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and manage comprehensive wellness programs tailored for older adults.
  • Assess health and wellness needs, coordinating with professionals and vendors.
  • Develop educational materials and organize health screenings, workshops, and events.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and report key metrics.
  • Provide leadership to wellness program staff and promote wellness initiatives across CRSS.
  • Establish policies and procedures aligned with best practices in senior wellness.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Occupational/Physical Therapy, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of wellness-related experience.
  • Preferred: Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or similar certification.
  • Strong knowledge of wellness trends and experience in program development.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
  • Utilize resources prudently while upholding Catholic Charities’ mission and values.

 

The incumbent must align with Catholic Charities' mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Pre-Employment Screening
