Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated First and Second Grade Elementary Teacher to lead a multi-age classroom, teaching all core subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies) except Religion. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about early childhood education, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is committed to fostering a love of learning in young students. 

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of both first and second grade learners.

  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment rooted in respect, kindness, and Catholic values.

  • Assess student learning regularly and differentiate instruction as needed.

  • Collaborate with the classroom aide and specials teachers to enrich students’ academic and social-emotional development.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

  • Support the school's mission and work in partnership with faculty, staff, and administration to create a faith-filled learning environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required)

  • Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification (required)

  • Experience teaching in a multi-grade or small classroom setting is a plus

  • Practicing Catholic preferred but not required

  • Strong classroom management skills and a warm, caring demeanor

  • Commitment to teamwork, lifelong learning, and student success
