Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. This position involves routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and ensuring that all areas meet established health and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- 
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas
 - 
Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies, and empty trash receptacles
 - 
Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces as needed
 - 
Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs or replacements needed
 - 
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting building damage or safety hazards
 - 
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored properly and used according to safety guidelines
 - 
Set up and clean up after meetings or events as required
 - 
Respond promptly to cleaning requests or spills during working hours
 
Job Requirements
- 
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
 - 
Experience: Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
 - 
Skills & Qualifications:
- 
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
 - 
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
 - 
Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
 - 
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety practices
 - 
Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
