Job Summary
Duchesne High School seeks a dynamic and organized professional to support the Advancement Team in its mission to engage alumni, parents, donors, and our Pioneer community in support of the school’s strategic plan. This individual will play a key role in managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate donor records, and assisting in the coordination and execution of advancement events.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to fundraising and community engagement efforts while gaining hands-on experience in event planning, donor relations, and operations.
Job Responsibilities
Advancement Support:

Assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

Maintain and update donor records in the school's advancement database (e.g., Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge).

Prepare donor acknowledgment letters and other correspondence.

Support mailings, appeals, and reports for fundraising and alumni engagement.

Conduct basic donor research to support cultivation and stewardship efforts.

Provide administrative support to the Director of Advancement and team, including scheduling, record-keeping, and meeting coordination.
Event Planning Support:

Help coordinate logistics for advancement events such as the annual gala, golf tournaments, alumni reunions, donor recognition events, and Pioneer tours.

Assist with vendor communications, guest list management, RSVPs, setup, and on-site event execution.

Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure timely promotion of events through social media, email, and printed materials.

Track event budgets and expenses, and support post-event analysis and reporting.
Job Requirements

High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous experience in administrative support, development, or event planning is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning donor database software.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A positive, professional attitude with a commitment to the mission of Duchesne High School.

Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for events.
