Job Summary
The Elementary School Aide supports the classroom teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled learning environment. The Aide assists with instructional tasks, student supervision, classroom management, and general clerical duties. This position requires a supportive and cooperative individual who values Catholic education and works collaboratively with faculty, students, and families.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the teacher in preparing and organizing instructional materials

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed

Help supervise students in the classroom, hallway, lunchroom, playground, and during special activities

Support classroom routines and help maintain a respectful, orderly environment

Encourage and model appropriate behavior and Christian values

Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and organizing student work

Maintain confidentiality regarding student and school information

Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and faith formation events
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in education preferred

Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred

Practicing Catholic who supports the mission of Catholic education

Patient, reliable, and positive team player

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to follow directions and adapt to the needs of the classroom
