Job Summary
The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic, social, and spiritual growth. This role requires a commitment to inclusive education and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations
- Utilize research-based strategies to support students with learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students receive appropriate support.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Participate in professional development, school meetings, and faith-based activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based setting.
- Strong understanding of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church preferred
