Mover Laborer

Job Summary

The Mover and Laborer assists with the physical relocation, setup, and maintenance of furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the church, school, and parish facilities. This individual supports the parish mission by ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for worship, education, and community events, while modeling respect and care in a faith-based setting.

Job Responsibilities

· Move furniture out of classrooms/café. This includes filing cabinets, student desks, chairs, bookcases, carts, boxes, etc.

· Move furniture back into classrooms, onto newly waxed floor by map instructions and/or custodian

· Will also be asked to perform duties such as taking out trash, touching up painting, moving objects in need. Assisting custodian with odd tasks.

Job Requirements

· Must be 15 years old or older (work permit needed if 15); No experience necessary. On the job training, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Capable of learning to use 2- and 4-wheel dolly and moving furniture with it.

· Ability to get to work on time and be ready to work
