Job Summary
Seton Regional is seeking an inspiring Music Teacher to cultivate a love of music in students while integrating faith-based teachings into their musical education. The ideal candidate will encourage creativity and performance in both vocal and instrumental instruction.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver an engaging music curriculum that includes theory, vocal performance, and instrumental instruction.
- Lead school liturgical music and prepare students for Mass and special events.
- Direct school choirs, ensembles.
- Encourage students to explore and develop their musical talents.
- Organize student performances for school and community events.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes creativity, teamwork, and respect.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to incorporate music into broader school initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification or ability to obtain one.
- Experience leading choirs, bands, or school musical programs preferred.
- Strong understanding of Catholic liturgical music and traditions.
- Passion for working with middle school students and fostering a love for music.
