Job Summary
Seton Regional Catholic School, a Catholic school rooted in Gospel values and early childhood development, is seeking a nurturing and dependable Preschool Aide to assist in the care and education of preschool-aged children. The aide will work alongside the lead teacher to create a safe, engaging, and faith-filled classroom environment that supports the spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
Job Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in supervising children and implementing daily routines and activities.

Help prepare and organize materials for lessons, crafts, and play-based learning.

Support students during activities such as circle time, play centers, snack, rest time, and outdoor play.

Foster a warm, respectful, and Christ-centered atmosphere that reflects Catholic values.

Monitor student behavior and reinforce positive behavior strategies in alignment with teacher direction.

Assist with classroom clean-up, organization, and sanitization to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Provide individualized attention to children as needed to support learning and emotional needs.

Participate in school liturgies, prayer, and religious celebrations appropriate for early learners.

Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and school leadership.

Uphold the mission of Catholic education in daily responsibilities and interactions.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required); coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Experience working with preschool-aged children in a school, childcare, or parish setting preferred.

Practicing Catholic preferred, or respectful of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith.

Patience, compassion, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

Must complete all diocesan Safe Environment requirements, including a background check and training.
