Job Summary
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is seeking a passionate and innovative STEM Teacher to deliver engaging science, technology, engineering, and math instruction to students. The STEM Teacher will foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills within a supportive, faith-centered environment that integrates Catholic values and teachings throughout the curriculum.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate STEM lesson plans aligned with diocesan guidelines and national standards.

Integrate Catholic social teaching and faith perspectives into STEM lessons when appropriate.

Utilize hands-on activities, experiments, technology, and project-based learning to engage students.

Encourage student collaboration, inquiry, and exploration to deepen understanding of STEM concepts.

Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and school administration.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives.

Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning and discovery.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school liturgical events.

Promote a respectful, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere that reflects Catholic values.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

Teaching certification or license preferred.

Experience teaching STEM subjects to elementary or middle school students.

Practicing Catholic preferred or supportive of the mission and values of a Catholic school.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Proficiency with educational technology and STEM tools.
