Job Summary

Seton Regional Catholic School, located in St. Charles, MO is looking for an individual to join our experienced team in the role of Middle School English/Literature Teacher.  Seton Regional Catholic School is one of the top driving Catholic schools in the St. Charles area. With over 300 students in grades PK-8, Seton Regional’s primary purpose is to inspire, engage, and change lives by authentically living and teaching the Faith.  

Job Responsibilities

6th Grade Homeroom, Grades 6-8 English, and Grades 7-8 Literature

● Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

● Evaluate student progress using assignments,quizzes, projects, and exams, and offer timely and constructive feedback.

● Create and maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.

● Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, and professional development activities.

● Design and execute detailed lesson plans for English and Literature that align with state standards and the school curriculum.

● Maintain an accurate record of students' grades, attendance, and other essential data.

● Encourage students to develop and advance reading comprehension, communication skills, and critical thinking, writing.

● Work together with colleagues and school administration to promote positive relationships with parents, students, and school community.  

Job Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in related field.

● Teaching certification in Missouri for applicable grades or able to obtain.

● Passion for working with middle school students and helping them succeed academically and personally.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems.
