Activity Coordinator – Part-Time (Weekend Days Only)
Pay: $15–$20 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking two experienced Activity Coordinators for our Residential Care/Assisted Living facilities. In this role, you will coordinate engaging and meaningful activities tailored to the diverse religious, cultural, and social backgrounds of our residents.

 

Shift Availability:

  • Part-Time Days: Weekend Only

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and coordinate resident-centered activities, including daytime, evening, and weekend programs.
  • Develop and distribute monthly and weekly activity calendars, ensuring residents are informed about upcoming opportunities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents, employees, and visitors.
  • Demonstrate appreciation for the heritage, values, and life experiences of residents while understanding the aging process.
  • Organize resident shopping trips, outings, and manage the scheduling of the Activity Center.
  • Maintain and care for activity supplies and equipment in an orderly manner.
  • Assist residents during mealtimes, including escorting them to the dining room as needed.
  • Schedule and/or drive facility vans for resident field trips.
  • Maintain and coordinate the Pet Therapy program (if applicable).
  • Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the mission and values of CRSS Assisted Living.

 

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in activity coordination.
  • Proven experience working with older adults.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) within three months of hire.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability to adjust to varying workloads, assignments, hours, and days (including weekends, evenings, and holidays).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals and personalities.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and creativity are essential.
  • Physical ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Functional sight and hearing (with or without prosthetics) to perform position requirements effectively.
  • Demonstrated emotional stability to handle the mental and emotional demands of the role.
  • Ability to perform the essential physical and mental functions of the position.

 

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $15–$20 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Pre-Employment Screening
