Job Summary

Activity Coordinator – Assisted Living
Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Every other weekend, daytime shift
Openings: 2 part-time positions

 

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services (CRSS), one of South County’s largest nonprofit senior living communities, is hiring two experienced Activity Coordinators to join our growing team. This role supports one of our Residential Care/Assisted Living facilities and plays a vital part in enriching the lives of older adults through meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead resident-centered activities for weekends and daytime hours
  • Create and distribute monthly and weekly activity calendars
  • Coordinate internal and external social opportunities across diverse backgrounds
  • Schedule and escort residents to shopping trips, outings, and mealtimes
  • Maintain and organize activity supplies and equipment
  • Support Pet Therapy programming as applicable
  • Drive or schedule transportation for field trips (CDL required within 3 months)
  • Assist with dining room transitions and promote participation in meals
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff
  • Perform other duties consistent with CRSS’s philosophy of care

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in activity coordination
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 3 months of hire
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse personalities
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and needs
  • Physical ability to move throughout the workday and assist residents
  • Emotional stability to support residents with compassion and patience
  • Must be in good health and able to meet the physical and mental demands of the role

Pre-Employment Screening
