Job Summary

The After Care School Program Staff provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students after regular school hours. This role involves supervising children, leading activities, and assisting with homework or quiet play.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise students from 3:10 PM to 5:30 PM, ensuring their safety at all times

  • Lead age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, or reading

  • Assist with homework and encourage positive social interaction

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful environment

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

  • Follow all school policies and procedures

  • Support students with transitions and end-of-day routines

  • Report any concerns or incidents to the appropriate school personnel

Job Requirements

  • Must be a faith-filled Christian adult and positive role model

  • Prevent and Protect certification through the Archdiocese of St. Louis (or equivalent)

  • Experience working with children preferred

  • Ability to manage groups of children in a calm and professional manner

  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Commitment to upholding the mission and values of the school
