Primary Campus Teacher Aide Job Description

Position Summary

A teacher’s aide at Holy Cross Academy must be a practicing Christian who is passionate about fostering, developing, and evaluating a high-spirited, progressive learning environment which supports the health, welfare, safety and spirit of our students, faculty and parents. 

Requirements

Prior experience working with students in a classroom setting. 

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Teacher’s Aide:

  • Displays excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with educators, families, and community leaders effectively.

  • Coordinate activities with teachers and administration.

  • Works with teachers to provide in-class instruction that meets diverse learning needs.

  • Is student-focused and nurtures a caring and inclusive school environment.

  • Communicates with faculty, staff, and parents regularly and in a joyful, supportive manner. 

  • Must be organized, collaborative and flexible.

  • Must complete the Safe Environment Program through the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
