Primary Campus Teacher Aide Job Description

Position Summary
A teacher’s aide at Holy Cross Academy must be a practicing Christian who is passionate about fostering, developing, and evaluating a high-spirited, progressive learning environment which supports the health, welfare, safety and spirit of our students, faculty and parents.
Requirements
Prior experience working with students in a classroom setting.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Teacher’s Aide:

Displays excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with educators, families, and community leaders effectively.

Coordinate activities with teachers and administration.

Works with teachers to provide in-class instruction that meets diverse learning needs.

Is student-focused and nurtures a caring and inclusive school environment.

Communicates with faculty, staff, and parents regularly and in a joyful, supportive manner.

Must be organized, collaborative and flexible.

Must complete the Safe Environment Program through the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
