Job Summary

Cardinal Ritter College Prep is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Band Director to support the leadership and growth of its band program. This role assists with rehearsals, concert and marching band preparation, and student skill development, while also helping manage logistics such as equipment, uniforms, and travel. The ideal candidate brings strong musical expertise, effective communication and organizational skills, and a passion for inspiring students and fostering a positive, inclusive band culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading sectional rehearsals and individual skill development.
  • Assisting with concert preparation, music selection, and arranging.
  • Supporting marching band activities, including rehearsals, drills, and performances.
  • Managing logistical tasks such as inventory, uniform distribution, and transportation coordination.
  • Collaborating with the Director to plan and execute band trips and competitions.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to student leaders and section captains.
