Position Summary:
Christ the King Catholic Church is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Clerical / Church Bulletin Editor to manage the production of the parish's weekly bulletin. This position is responsible for collecting content, formatting the layout, proofreading, and ensuring timely submission for publication. The ideal candidate is organized, familiar with parish life, and able to uphold the tone and mission of the Catholic Church in all communications.
Job Responsibilities

Plan, edit, and publish the weekly parish bulletin.

Collect and compile announcements and content from parish and school staff, ministries, and parishioners.

Design and format the bulletin using software such as Microsoft Publisher, LPi (Liturgical Publications), and Adobe tools.

Proofread all submitted materials for clarity, grammar, and accuracy before publication.

Ensure the bulletin aligns with the tone, values, and schedule of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Submit the final bulletin to the printer (LPi) by Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. each week.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and correspondence.
Job Requirements

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Publisher and familiarity with LPi and Adobe software (training will be provided).

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet firm deadlines.

Familiarity with Catholic parish life, values, and liturgical schedule is a plus.

Willingness to learn and adapt to parish-specific processes.
