Job Summary

The Communication Ministry Coordinator is a creative and driven professional with proven Communications skills who will grow the online and digital communications presence of a complex, multi-ministry faith community. A highly motivated self-starter, the Ministry Coordinator must also be a dedicated team player, collaborating with the entire Parish Ministry, Education and Administrative teams to provide impactful communications.

 

Job Responsibilities

Ministry Focus: Communications (Bulletin and Digital Media)

 

1. Effectively and strategically manage and grow content for communications platforms with priority for digital communication platforms (social media, website, app, etc.)

2. Oversee messaging across all communications/digital platforms to ensure consistency and engage target audiences.  Media Includes:

Weekly Bulletin: Collaboratively plan, design and produce publication-ready weekly bulletin to promote parish events and initiatives.

Website:  Manage website.  Provide day-to day web production including edits and changes.   Regularly review content and design and collaborate with parish ministry leaders to achieve goal of user-friendly web environment with fresh, accurate and engaging information.

Social Media:

a. Develop social media strategies including dynamic content creation and publishing for parish ministries, initiatives, and events to increase visibility and engagement.  Collaborate with parish leadership to strategically use paid social media advertising.

b. Planning - Create content calendars for social media channels.

c. Coordinate the creation and publishing of digital content for social media posts

 

 

Job Requirements

Experience in digital marketing including social media, website, and digital analytics is desired.  

Availability to occasionally work flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings is required.  Partially remote work schedule is possible.
