Job Summary
The Communication Specialist and Evangelization Apostolate Coordinator is a creative and driven professional with proven Communications skills who will grow the online and digital communications presence of a complex, multi-ministry faith community. A highly motivated self-starter, the Ministry Coordinator must also be a dedicated team player, collaborating with the entire Parish Ministry, Education and Administrative teams to provide impactful communications.
This role also has primary responsibility for implementing a relationship ministry focused on strengthening relationships, marriages and families within the parish and community.
Job Responsibilities
Ministry Focus I: Communications Ministry (Bulletin and Digital Media)

Lead and grow parish communication efforts with a focus on digital platforms (website, app, social media).

Ensure clear, consistent messaging across all channels:

Bulletin: Plan and produce weekly publication highlighting parish news.

Website: Maintain content, update regularly, and ensure ease of use.

Social Media:
a. Create and manage content and strategy, including paid ads.
b. Develop content calendar.
c. Coordinate posts, visuals, and videos with ministries.
d. Capture and share event media.
e. Engage followers, respond to comments/messages, and escalate as needed.

Track digital performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.

Recruit and guide volunteers to support communications efforts.

Collaborate with the Parish Leadership Team, contribute ideas, and provide communications support.
Ministry Focus II: Marriage and Family Apostolate Coordinator

Serve as liaison with Communio, coordinating resources for evangelization.

Promote a mission-focused parish culture through relationship ministry.

Lead the Relationship Culture Team:

Conduct attendee surveys.

Mobilize volunteers for:

2–3 Outreach Events/year

6–8 Ongoing Engagements/year

2–3 Growth Journey Tracks/year

Monitor data to assess impact and guide improvements.

Job Requirements

Experience in digital marketing including social media, website, and digital analytics is desired.
