Job Title: Technology/Computer Teacher
School: Holy Redeemer Catholic School
Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a knowledgeable, innovative, and faith-filled Technology/Computer Teacher to join our vibrant school community. This educator will be responsible for delivering high-quality technology instruction to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will help students become confident, responsible digital citizens while supporting the integration of technology across the curriculum in alignment with Catholic values and the mission of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Responsibilities
Instruction & Curriculum Development

Teach technology and computer skills to K–8 students, including keyboarding, digital literacy, coding, internet safety, and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace).

Develop and implement a technology curriculum aligned with Archdiocesan and state standards.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and skill levels of students.
Digital Citizenship & Safety

Foster responsible digital behavior in line with Catholic teachings.

Teach students how to navigate online environments safely, respectfully, and ethically.
Technology Integration

Collaborate with faculty to support the use of educational technology across subject areas.

Assist in integrating digital tools to enhance learning and student engagement.
Classroom Management & Environment

Create a positive, organized, and student-centered learning environment.

Set clear expectations for behavior and responsible technology use.
Support & Communication

Maintain open communication with parents, students, and colleagues regarding student progress.

Assist with basic troubleshooting and support for classroom tech tools/devices.

Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and ongoing faith formation.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required)

Valid Missouri Teaching Certification or the ability to obtain one (required)

Experience teaching elementary or middle school students (preferred)

Proficiency with educational technology platforms and tools (e.g., Chromebooks, Google Workspace, coding apps)

Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Practicing Catholic preferred; must support the mission of Catholic education

Compliance with Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements
