Job Summary
St. Patrick Center, a ministry for Catholic Charities, is hiring a Custodial Engineer responsible for the upkeep and cleaning at Rosati Place, an off-site location, as well as other assignments related to the ministry's mission, vision, and values. We are looking for a custodial engineer who understands the significance of cleanliness to our clients, employees, and volunteers. The custodial engineer will be responsible for the general cleaning of the facility including mopping, dusting, restrooms, and common areas. This role adheres to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals and equipment. The wage range for this position is $13.75 - $17.00 an hour. The core working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs all assignments related to the Facilities Department as defined by written work orders and verbal directives from the Custodial Supervisor and/or other members of the leadership team.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (ex. dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning)
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Cooperate with coworkers.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Meets with supervisor as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or ten (10) years of custodial work experience required
- Reliable transportation
Preffered Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or certification from trade school preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in housekeeping preferred.

Pre-Employment Screening
