Job Summary

To support the ministry’s administrative and operational functions by maintaining accurate and organized data related to interments, plots, and family records across multiple cemetery locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain cemetery records and interment data in the organization’s management systems.
  • Audit and reconcile existing digital and paper records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

  • Assist with mapping projects by helping to connect burial and crypt data with digital or GIS-based cemetery maps.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Archdiocesan data privacy and recordkeeping standards.
  • Collaborate with other administrative and operations team members to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a faith-based, nonprofit, or service-oriented environment is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with database and cemetery management software is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Discretion and respect for confidential information.
  • A demonstrated respect for the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
