Working collaboratively with individuals, businesses, government and other service providers, St. Patrick Center will end chronic homelessness in the St. Louis region through Housing First, an evidence-based practice that tells us to remove barriers, do intake and assessment early, move people into housing and offer them support to achieve their goals.
Position Summary
St. Patrick Center, a ministry of Catholic Charities, is hiring a Database Project Manager. This position manages and maintains the integrity of Raiser’s Edge NXT, ensuring accurate data entry by implementing effective checks and balances. Your responsibilities will include posting to the General Ledger each week and collaborating with our finance teams to balance monthly revenue, all while nurturing a portfolio of dedicated monthly donors. You will also have the opportunity to celebrate meaningful contributions by tracking stock gifts and coordinating engaging fundraising appeals through carefully curated mailing lists. With a commitment to professionalism, you'll provide exceptional service to our donors, volunteers, and staff, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. The core working hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Overview and Responsibilities
• Develop checks and balances to ensure accuracy of data entry
• Manage, coordinate and maintain the overall health of Raiser’s Edge NXT
• Post to the General Ledger weekly
• Balance monthly revenue with St. Patrick Center and Archdiocese finance teams
• Manage of portfolio of monthly donors
• Support the tracking and accuracy of stock gifts made to St. Patrick Center
• Create mailing lists for newsletters, annual report, year-end, event and other fundraising appeals
• Coordinate mailing processes with direction from the Philanthropy team
• Provide volunteer support for St. Patrick Center fundraising events
• Oversee donation entry, tracking, acknowledgement Database Coord. enters and commit batches after completion
• Manage acknowledgement of letters signed by Senior Director of Philanthropy
• Manage the processing of tribute and memorial requests
• Coordinate major donor files and bequest donations with Philanthropy Specialist
• Demonstrate professionalism with donors and staff
• Actively support the St. Patrick Center mission
• Work to maintain the highest level of customer service with donors, volunteers and staff
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience working in Raisers Edge NXT or similar donor database required
Skills and Competencies Required
• Ability to adapt and adjust to new ideas and initiatives while showing problem solving skills
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have superior organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and be a strong team member
