Job Summary

This role includes leadership responsibilities related to student behavior, staff support, and school climate.

Job Responsibilities

Dean of Students:

· Promote a positive school culture by consistently implementing behavior policies and restorative practices.

· Manage student discipline, including investigations, consequences, and follow-up communications with students and families.

· Track behavior incidents and data to identify trends and provide interventions and supports.

· Work proactively with students, staff, and families to prevent behavior issues and promote student well-being.

Dean of Staff:

· Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers and support staff.

· Assist in the annual teacher evaluation process and support professional development planning.

· Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, supporting instructional best practices and classroom management.

· Foster a collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented staff culture.

Family & Community Engagement:

· Serve as a consistent point of contact for parent concerns, especially regarding behavior and special education.

· Communicate clearly and compassionately with families to foster trust and build strong partnerships.

· Participate in school events, parent meetings, and community engagement efforts.

Job Requirements

Experience in education, student affairs, or a related field is essential.
