Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, Saint Louis Counseling supports healing and improved mental health for families and children of all backgrounds through professional counseling and psychiatric services. Saint Louis Counseling operates eight offices throughout metropolitan St. Louis. In addition, its School Partnership Program (SPP) therapists provide onsite services to students at more than 100 schools as well as children who are homeless living at area shelters. 

Job Summary

The Finance Assistant of the Mh/SUD Service line of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, under the directiopn of the CFC of the MH/SUD service line, is responsible for a variety of finance dutire around accounts payable, payroll and grant tracking. 

Job Responsibilities

Process full cycle accounts payable
Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies
Set up new vendors including certifying W9 forms, processing 1099 forms
Maintain the billing/payables email accounts and contact information 
Review and submit bi-weekly timesheets in payroll system
Print monthly expense data for grants
Process monthly grant invoices
Track grant utilization

Job Requirements

Core competencies-
Attention to detail: ensuring accuracy of financial records and reports
Analytical skills: abilitly to analyze data and identify discrepancies
Technical profeciency- advanced proficiency with MS Excel
 

Qualifications-
Education- Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance or equivalent experience 
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
Ability to read and interpret contracts and regulations from funders

Pre-Employment Screening
