Job Summary

The Football C Team Offensive Coach is responsible for developing and implementing the offensive philosophy, schemes, and techniques for the C Team. This coach works under the direction of the Head Football Coach and collaborates with other assistant coaches to ensure alignment with the overall football program. The Offensive Coach will focus on player development, fundamentals, and fostering a positive and competitive team environment that promotes growth, sportsmanship, and academic success. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, teach, and implement offensive strategies and plays suited to the C Team level.

  • Plan and conduct offensive position drills, film sessions, and practice activities focused on skill development and execution.

  • Evaluate player performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential for advancement within the football program.

  • Collaborate with defensive and special teams coaches to coordinate overall team play and game plans.

  • Assist the Head Coach with offensive game planning, play-calling, and opponent scouting.

  • Emphasize fundamentals such as blocking, ball security, route running, footwork, and communication.

  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players and staff.

  • Ensure player safety by teaching proper techniques and enforcing safety standards during all practices and games.

  • Attend all practices, games, staff meetings, and required program events.

  • Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, ethical behavior, and leadership on and off the field.

Job Requirements

  • Previous football coaching experience (preferably at the high school or youth level).

  • Strong understanding of offensive football concepts, formations, and player techniques.

  • Ability to teach, motivate, and communicate effectively with student-athletes.

  • Demonstrated commitment to player development, teamwork, and academic success.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a coaching staff and follow program direction.

  • Must pass any required background checks and meet district or school employment standards.
