Job Summary

The HRIS SuccessFactors Product Manager (Data Management) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of the organization’s HR data ecosystem. This role focuses on data governance, system integrations, reporting, and analytics within SuccessFactors and related HR systems.


Working in partnership with HR, IT, and business stakeholders, the specialist supports data-driven decision making by optimizing data flows, improving data quality, and ensuring consistent reporting standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HRIS data management, a strong analytical mindset, and the technical ability to connect business processes with technology solutions.
 

Job Responsibilities

Data Quality & Governance

  • Serve as the primary owner for HRIS data integrity within SuccessFactors, ensuring consistent, accurate, and compliant data across all modules.
  • Monitor and audit HR data for completeness and accuracy; proactively resolve discrepancies through validation and analysis.
  • Maintain and enforce HR data governance standards, including naming conventions, data definitions, and audit practices.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, process documentation, and governance materials.

Integrations & Systems Management

  • Partner with IT and HRIS teams to design, test, and maintain data interfaces and integrations between SuccessFactors and other systems (e.g., payroll, finance, identity management).
  • Manage data migration, transformation, and validation activities during system changes, upgrades, or module
  • Support release management processes, including testing and change documentation.
    Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards using SuccessFactors Report Center, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications that align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure reporting consistency across HR systems and provide insights that support workforce analytics and decision making.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data and integrations, supporting HR business partners, managers, and system users.
  • Provide end-user support for data-related inquiries, including troubleshooting of report logic, data mismatches, and integration issues.
  • Partner with HR leadership to identify and implement continuous improvements to HR data processes and tools.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay informed on SuccessFactors functionality, data capabilities, and API tools to drive automation and system enhancements.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance HR data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and user experience.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including data management and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and system integrations.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS reporting tools (e.g., SuccessFactors Report Center, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing data in SuccessFactors or comparable HR systems.
  • SuccessFactors certification(s) or equivalent HRIS credentials (e.g., SAP, Workday).
  • Experience supporting testing, validation, and audit cycles in HR systems.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, ETL processes, or data governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
