Job Summary
Immacolata School, a faith-filled and academically rigorous Catholic school in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Learning Consultant for grades 5–8. The Learning Consultant will serve as a key resource for supporting diverse learners by collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to ensure students receive appropriate academic and behavioral support. This position plays a critical role in maintaining an inclusive environment where all students are given the tools and opportunities to succeed.
Job Responsibilities

Identify students in grades 5–8 who need academic or behavioral interventions through data analysis, teacher referrals, and classroom observations.

Develop, implement, and monitor student support plans, including accommodation plans and learning strategies.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.

Serve as a liaison between the school and outside support services, including public school districts, therapists, and psychologists.

Assist with standardized testing accommodations and documentation for qualifying students.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, concerns, and strategies for success.

Provide small group or individual instruction for students as needed.

Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process and coordinate meetings with teachers and parents.

Maintain records and documentation related to student progress, assessments, and support services.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, Educational Psychology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Valid Missouri teaching certification in Special Education or related field preferred.

Experience working with upper elementary or middle school students in a school setting.

Strong knowledge of best practices in differentiated instruction, learning accommodations, and behavioral interventions.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Commitment to Catholic education and the values and mission of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Completion of Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment training and background check requirements.
