Job Title: Middle School Math Teacher

Position Summary:

Holy Redeemer School, a faith-centered Catholic school in Webster Groves and a part of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Catholic education, committed to academic excellence, and able to foster a classroom environment that supports the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development of middle school students.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based math instruction for grades 6–8, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra.

  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment aligned with Catholic values.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs of students.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, including middle school team members and special subject teachers, to support student success.

  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

  • Integrate technology effectively into instruction and assessment.

  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and growth.

  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school functions, and faith formation activities.

  • Support the mission of Holy Redeemer School and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)

  • Missouri teaching certification in Middle School Math (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Previous teaching experience preferred, especially at the middle school level

  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required

  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

  • Must complete and maintain compliance with the Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program
